Gas quality requirements specified in the Interconnection agreements concluded between Transmission System Operators

The interconnection agreement between AS “Conexus Baltic Grid” and Elering AS establishes specific gas quality requirement differing from the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation: Oxygen (O₂) content ≤ 0.02mol%*.

The interconnection agreement between AS “Conexus Baltic Grid” and AB "Amber Grid" establishes specific gas quality requirement differing from the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation: Oxygen (O₂) content ≤ The quality requirement limit value is currently under review.

The information is published in accordance with paragraph 16 of Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 50 of 21 January 2025 “Regulations on requirements for the introduction of liquefied natural gas converted into a gaseous state, gaseous fuel produced or obtained from renewable energy resources and low-carbon gaseous fuel into the natural gas transmission and distribution system”.

* TSOs may temporarily adjust gas quality requirement at border-crossing interconnection point (either upward or downward) upon initiation by any of concerned TSO. The adjustment shall not exceed 7 (seven) calendar days unless extended by further written agreement.
