"Conexus Baltic Grid" AS emergency mechanisms

Information on Emergency Mechanisms

According to Regulation (EU) No 2024/1789

 

In accordance with point 3.1.2 (k) of Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2024/1789 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 June 2024 on the internal markets for renewable gas, natural gas and hydrogen, amending Regulations (EU) No 1227/2011, (EU) 2017/1938, (EU) 2019/942 and (EU) 2022/869 and Decision (EU) 2017/684 and repealing Regulation (EC) No 715/2009 (recast) transmission system operators are required to publish information on emergency mechanisms, insofar as these fall under the responsibility of the transmission system operator. This includes, for example, measures that may lead to the disconnection of customer groups, as well as general liability rules applicable to the transmission system operator.

 

AS Conexus Baltic Grid hereby informs that it operates in accordance with the following national legislation governing emergency mechanisms:

  • Regulation No. 503 of the Cabinet of Ministers (adopted on 9 August 2022) "Regulations Regarding Supply of Energy Users When the Early Warning and Alert Levels Are Declared", and
  • Regulation No. 576 of the Cabinet of Ministers (adopted on 27 August 2024) "Procedures for the Supply of Energy Users Announced During an Energy Crisis and in the Event of a National Threat".
