JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid” submits the information required to start the certification

JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid” submitted today the prepared documentation required to start the transmissions system operator certification process to the Public Utilities Commission.

To reach the implementation of the property right separation aim, JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid” irrespective of the structure of shareholders can ensure that the transmission system operator makes the decisions independently by ensuring the transparency and not discriminating attitude towards the transmission system users and the market members. When preparing the documentation, JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid” took into account the explanations of the European Commission about the separation of property right and implementation of control in terms of transmission system operator’s independence requirements.  

JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid” has prepared the documents in accordance with the certification provisions approved by the Public Utilities Commission that prescribes the information to be provided to certify safe operation of IT systems, protection of commercial information and provision of equal attitude towards all market members. During the preparation of the certification documents, an independent certified IT auditor has verified the circulation of the commercial information and hasn’t detected any lacks in these processes.
