Conexus receives license
Public Service Regulatory Commission (PSRC) on 5th of January, decided to issue the new JSC „Conexus Baltic Grid” licenses for natural gas transportation and storage in Latvia and storage in Inčukalns underground gas storage.
Thus, natural gas transportation and storage services, which until now were provided by JSC „Latvijas Gāze”, will further be ensured by JSC „Conexus Baltic Grid”. The license was issued for a period of 20 years to the operator- from 5th of January, 2017 until 4th of January, 2037.
PSRC has found that JSC „Conexus Baltic” grid has all the assets to ensure natural gas transportation and storage services.
According to the law until the Regulator will decide on the approval of new rates of natural gas transportation and storage, the services mentioned will be provided at rates set by JSC „Latvijas Gāze”.
