Transmission
Natural gas transmission service means injection of natural gas into the natural gas transmission system, transmission it by pipelines and removal from the transmission system. Transmission services are sold in capacity units (kWh/day) in the amount of technically available capacity of transmission entry-exit points.
Regulations for Estonian - Latvian common balancing zone
In accordance to the Public Utilities Commission decision of October 28, 2019, the Regulations of the Latvia – Estonia common balancing zone, drafted by JSC Conexus Baltic Grid and Elering AS has been confirmed by Public Utilities Commission in Latvia . The Common Regulations for the use of Natural Gas Transmission System in Latvia – Estonia common balancing zone regulate operation of Common Balancing Zone from January 1, 2020. In order to maintain the market development of natural gas, the rules are regularly revised and updated.
